About
Virtual Hearings Canada was founded in 2020 by Virginia Kromkamp to provide technical assistance and training in support of labour arbitration hearings. Since then VHC has expanded to provide assistance in a wide variety of proceedings and events.
Our founder has spent over 10 years in Hospitality operations, customer relations, and successful technology and change implementation. Virginia decided to pair her experience with a passion to assist people in making their connections. Making a Difference
In many ways virtual hearings and events can equalize opportunities for access to justice and entertainment, and allow a voice for a broader community to be heard. As there can be physical and socio-economic barriers to accessing virtual events, there may need to be responses for persons requiring accommodation.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
The growing use of virtual events provides a great opportunity to save carbon emissions. While Virtual Hearings may have a smaller footprint, we know the work we do still has an environmental impact
What we're doing:
VHC will buy carbon offsets for each member of our team, 1 tonne annually through Ecologi. Ecologi is a platform for real climate action, facilitating the funding of carbon offset projects and tree planting around the world. Check them out as they have options for every person.
VHC uses Google cloud to store our documents, with an "A rating" in being carbon neutral for the last year. It is a leader is managing the environmental impact of their servers.
